Hey Canberra — it’s been a while, hey? But we’re back to close off 2025 with a perfect afternoon of summer drams and tasty BBQ hosted by none other than Drew McKinnie himself!
Join the ACT Society cadre by the Belconnen Lakeside for a mouthwatering afternoon affair. Let us set the scene, shining sun glistening off the water, green grass, the wafts of gourmet BBQ meat flavours make their way to you, cooked by Society member Don Burningham. Of course, there’ll be six SMWS drams present for you to taste at your leisure throughout the afternoon, including this year’s Gathering Cask — 95.105 Into the carpenter’s kitchen — selected by our branch’s Marketing Manager Adam Ioannidis. Plus, a slew of refreshing mixers for you to mix with your whisky should you wish, or simply just to have as a cooling alternative between drams.
Delightful drams, cool breezes, refreshing company and festivities — a Saturday afternoon in a glorious setting! Join us as we farewell 2025 with good flavour and even better friends.
