Haggis, neeps & tatties await at The Mailman for a traditional Scottish Burns Supper this January — with a summer twist!
Join your local SMWS Ambassador and personality Scott Mansfield at the Mailman Café once more for a uniquely Queensland take on the classic Burns Supper — a whisky dinner with a summer twist. We’ll honour the Bard Robbie Burns himself with readings of some of the bard’s most-loved poems, including a traditional Address to the Haggis.
We’ll be teaming up once again with Chef Myles Hartley, who will be creating modern interpretations of Scottish favourites, reimagined for warm-weather indulgence, and paired with 5x curated SMWS malts (including a black-label bottling). Expect great flavours, vibrant flavours, good company, and a lively celebration of Rabbie Burns — this is Scottish tradition served sunny-side up! Kilts and tartan welcome but not required.
When? Sunday the 25th of January, 7:00pm arrival and start.
Where? The Mailman; 2-6 Bluebell Street, Alexandra Hills QLD 4161.
Tickets are available for both members and non-members. Members may purchase member tickets on behalf of guests.
