The Gathering is BACK! And Alex Moores has something special in store for Melbourne members.
Ahead of our large-format Global Gathering tasting at the Kelvin Club (Thursday, September 28), VIC State Ambassador Alex Moores will be hosting an intimate Gathering tasting upstairs at Whisky & Alement on the 14th. This cosy and special tasting will give guests the opportunity to ‘challenge the panel’ and see if they can pick flavours and aromas in a blind tasting, format — much similar to what Alex himself experienced when he selected the 2023 Aussie Gathering cask.
This is a small-format blind tasting experience — each ticket includes 6x SMWS drams (including the Aus Gathering cask), charcuterie, and a welcome drink.
When? Thursday 14th of September 2023 — 6:30pm arrival for a 7:00pm start.
Where? Upstairs at Whisky & Alement, 270 Russell St, Melbourne, VIC 3000.
Members are welcome to bring guests at member pricing. Non-members are also welcome to attend.
