A blended journey
The Society is renowned for our award-winning and full-flavoured single cask whisky, but did you know the Society also has a rich history of blending, vatting, and creating flavours to explore the spectrum of what whisky can do? Our Spirits Manager Euan Campbell has been honing his skills as a blender and has created some of the most revered blended malts in Scotch whisky.
We’ve dug deep into our archive, and will be previewing two new creations, to create a special one-off evening of Heresy History with the SMWS. A taste of where it all began, some rare one-offs you’ve never seen, and a preview of what’s to come…
This special trip through heresy history will be the first official event to reopen the Melbourne Whisky Room upstairs from Partner Bar superstars, Whisky & Alement.
Expect a series of Society blended malt drams and a light supper. Come join the festivities for the first of our new monthly features upstairs!
When? Thursday the 16th of June, 6:30pm.
Where? The Melbourne Whisky Room (above Whisky & Alement), 270 Russell Street, Melbourne 3000.
Members are welcome to bring guests at member-ticket pricing. Non-members are also welcome to attend.
