Ahoy! Prepare to set sail (or, at least start up the engine) with the SMWS this December as we embark on a whisky cruise down the Yarra!
Bring up the anchor and hold onto your hats as SMWS Victoria returns to the high seas (Yarra River) for the ever-popular whisky boat cruise to celebrate the end of 2024. It’s been a year of incredible tastings, whiskies, and people, so won’t you join us in saying farewell to the year with some cracking-good Society drams and plenty of canapés to keep the afternoon going!?
12pm sharp arrival for a 12:30pm departure from Docklands, with a scheduled return to land at 4pm. We’ll be running a token system with each ticket entitling you to 7x drams — there will be a total of 12x different SMWS bottlings on offer for you to choose from. Additional drams may be purchased on the day + beer and soft drinks will be complimentary from the onboard bar. Feel free to dress up nautically: boat shoes, blazers, shorts, sundresses — it will be quite the yacht-club-themed affair!

When? Saturday, 7 December 2024 — 12:00pm arrival and 12:30pm departure.
Where? Docklands (berth to be announced to ticket holders closer to the event).
Members are welcome to bring guests at member prices. Non-members are also welcome to attend at a special price that includes one year of SMWS membership.
Please note that boarding time is between 12pm – 12:15pm; departure is at 12:30pm. We recommend you aim to arrive as close to 12pm as possible to avoid missing out.
