DESCRIPTION:The Maestro is back once more!\nAustralia’s undisputed king of matching food to whisky\, Franz Scheurer\, will once again weave his magic with Society malts\, this time collaborating with acclaimed chef\, Jose Silva\, at Bibo in Double Bay. \nJose was Head Chef at the iconic 3-hatted Guillaume at Bennelong for 12 years before opening Bibo in 2016. Bibo mixes traditional Portuguese cuisine with classic French cooking techniques\, making for stunning flavours\, textures\, and visuals. Guests will receive a cocktail on arrival (created by Franz) before embarking on an incredible five-course menu\, with Franz and Jose matching each dish to a different Society malt. \nPlease note this is a curated whisky dinner with specific dishes prepared and matched to each Society whisky. They toured around the country with a bag of whisky and gauged interest to see whether or not Australians would truly want these rare and delicious malts. \nThe resounding answer was a yes! So\, the plan was hatched to start the branch and bring the full Society experience to Australia. \nIn 2012 we celebrated our 10th anniversary of the branch\, and in 2017\, our 15th anniversary.
