Basque-inspired cuisine from his time in Spain\, it was awarded Two Hats for 2026. DESCRIPTION:You’ve seen them online\, you might have tasted them at a Partner Bar\, but now it’s time to gather in person and enjoy all eight new Flavour Profiles over a classic lunch at the Kelvin Club this June!\nFor almost a decade\, the Society’s 12 flavour profiles have influenced the way our members interact with our spirit. Now we see a shift from 12 to 8\, a simplification of flavour to further inform and assist how you interact with society spirit. A flavour evolution! \nJoin us at Kelvin Club on Saturday\, June 20\, for a beautiful luncheon where you’ll have the opportunity to taste a Society dram from each of the new profiles\, and write your own notes! An opportunity to get up close and personal with each of the new profiles and really find your own\, all in the stately surrounds of the Kelvin Club with fellow Society members. \nIn tandem\, we’ll also be exploring the newly-designed ‘Signature’ range of Society bottles. These will be replacing ‘Core’ bottlings with some minor\, yet crucial\, design changes as you’ll see. We’re really excited to be bringing these evolved flavours to you! \n \n\nWhen? Now\, we’re excited to bring you the second Peat Plants — PEAT PLANTS II! A series of four releases across our new ‘Bold & Peaty’ and ‘Smoky & Fruity’ Flavour Profiles. \n“This collection celebrates the powerful and medicinal nature of West Coast peat. We have selected a variety of expressions from Islay along with some similarly robust whisky from the Isle of Mull. These phenol-packed casks cover a spectrum from deeply tropical fruit and smoke through to intense carbolic character. There’s so much flavour diversity to be found in this collection\, in both spirit style and cask type. The Society is uniquely positioned to be able to celebrate all five regions at once; but as Scotch Whisky evolves\, we at the Society have to ask: do the regions really matter? There’s only one way to find out! Join as at The Royal Automobile Club of Australia on Saturday the 1st of August for a full afternoon of festival fun! \nWe will have a spacious and elegant private room with several stands throughout\, each with whiskies from their own regions for you to try at your leisure\, along with plentiful roaming canapés. What’s on pour? We don’t want to give too much away just yet\, but we can ensure you we’ll have: \n  \n\n1x five region blend (an evolution of last year’s incredibly popular Wandering Alchemy)\n1x Campbeltown malt\n2x Lowland malts\n4x Speyside malts\n4x Highland malts\n6x Islay malts\n\n \n  \nPlus\, the return of the Whisky & Alement rare Islay bar with co-owner Julian White serving some classic and rare whisky from Fèis Ìle experiences of the past\, plus some other rare goodies.
