DESCRIPTION:In the last 12 months\, the Society in Sydney has held all manner of new and exciting events.  As we kick off our calendar of events for 2017\, it occurred to us that it’s actually been a long time since we last held a good\, ol’ fashioned\, traditional whisky tasting and masterclass. \nJoin us on March 10th as we go back to basics and present a tasting masterclass.  We’ll showcase a stunning array of Society whiskies featuring all-new selections and releases not seen before in Australia.   Whilst open to everyone\, this event is aimed at newer members who may have joined the Society in the last 6-12 months.  There will be a small but fun educational side to the evening as we cover off what makes Society bottlings so special.  Those who think they “know” whisky might be in for a surprise!   Light supper included.  Friends and guests welcome! \nSlainte mhath\, \nAndrew Derbidge\nSMWS Cellarmaster
