DESCRIPTION:The year has flown by\, and it’s that time already…our End of Year Sydney Bash! \nIn keeping with recent tradition\, we present once more our fabulous EIGHT tasting. What’s eight for? It’s EIGHT degrees of satisfaction!\n1. Friday 10th November in the Macquarie Room at the Royal Automobile Club\, 89 Macquarie St.\n2. EIGHT new Society whiskies being featured\, many of them never before seen in Sydney (and\, in some cases\, never before showcased in Australia).\n3. The first EIGHT members to book in get 8% off the cost of any whisky they purchase on the night.\n4. The first EIGHT members to place an order on the night will receive a free 50ml official sample bottle of SMWS whisky.\n5. The first EIGHT members to submit an order for two bottles on the night will receive two free 50ml official sample bottles of SMWS whiskies. (From two different casks).\n6. $88 for members\, $118 for non-members\n7. Strictly limited to just 88 people.\n8. The format will be our ever-popular “Steps” style tasting. Attendees will receive six tasting tokens – simply choose whichever six whiskies you want to redeem them against\, in whatever order and pace you wish.\n9. Meet and chat with our regular team of Sydney Society Ambassadors who will be manning a stand and pouring out drams on the night – Andrew\, Murray\, Tony\, Matt\, Andre and myself.\n10. We’ve invited some ‘old friends’ with which to fill a glass including Distillery 4 and Distillery 29\, plus four more exciting new drams to whet your palate.  For 15 years the Scotch Malt Whisky Society has explored the world of single cask\, single malt whiskies.  We’ve always embarked on the path less taken and there are so many journeys awaiting us.  So come along\,  you’ll be all the better for it. And just in case you missed tasting this one\, we’ll be pouring out our 15th Anniversary bottling\, Cask 73.83\, to see out the old year and bring in the new.
