You only have to open the news to know that\, but what you might not know is that American whiskey is changing. The diversity of flavour coming out from the land of the free has been evolving\, and growing\, and The Society has been at the forefront of working with American distilleries in selecting and bottling some of these amazing single casks. \nThis will be the first Australian appearance of some of the newest codes to join The SMWS\, including a new prefix CW for ‘Corn whiskey’. Way more than just Bourbon now\, we’ll be exploring the diversity of style across American whiskey for one night only at W&A with Bourbons\, ryes\, corn whiskies\, and American single malts bottled by The SMWS! Anyone who has attended one of Alex’s food and whisky pairing experiences knows that these are not to be missed if you’re a fan of mouth-watering flavour pairings — and this one is no different. In keeping with July’s theme of celebrating artistry\, the primary focus of the evening will be on the delicate way the canapés are created\, whilst still maintaining their delicious allure. \nEach ticket includes a seven-course canapé tasting experience\, six SMWS single-cask malts\, and a welcome drink on arrival. \n  \nWhen? Thursday the 27th of July\, 6:30pm arrival for a 7:00pm start (food will be served at 7pm). \nWhere?
