DESCRIPTION:Every now and then\, an extremely rare and special opportunity comes along to be granted an audience with a true legend of the Scotch whisky industry.  The Society is thrilled to offer one such moment:  An Evening with David Stewart & The Balvenie. \nDavid is one of the last of the true Master Blenders\, and is the longest serving Malt Master in the industry today.   His status and authority in the game is peerless and he was recently awarded an MBE for his services to the Scotch whisky industry.   His reputation for presenting entertaining yet thought provoking whisky masterclasses is legendary. \nDavid is touring Australia next month as part of his work with The Balvenie and the Society is delighted to team up with the folks at William Grant & Sons for David to present an exclusive Masterclass event for our members and their guests in both Melbourne and Sydney.   David will present a line-up of top-notch whiskies from the Balvenie portfolio and – in a treat for the Society – he’s drawn off some cask samples directly from two very special casks\, exclusively for this event.   For our part\, we’ll also present a new Society whisky on the night that will be exclusive to this event. \nPlaces for this tantalising event are strictly limited so we urge you to act quickly for this unbelievably rare\, special\, and privileged opportunity. \nWelcome dram: 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start.
