DESCRIPTION:It is the Australian Malt Whisky Tasting Championship season and as an official Scotch Malt Whisky Society Partner Bar\, The Captain’s Balcony in Sydney is putting on an extra special AMWTC Preview ‘Blind Tasting’.\nHosted by National Director and Brand Ambassador Matt Bailey\, and local Sydney Ambassador\, Matt Wooler\, here is your chance to trial your skills and practice for the 2023 AMWTC. One individual will be crowned the winner and will take home a ticket valued at $249 to the coming AMWTC event on the 24th of June 2023 at the Art Gallery of NSW. \nWhat’s on taste? Well\, that can only be a secret\, but rest assured there will be previously unseen SMWS whiskies in the mix.  \nWhat if I already have purchased a ticket to the 2023 Champs? We’ll also present a wee Speyside travel guide (where to stay\, wine\, and dine!)\, and\, of course\, we’ll be exploring and tasting five diverse whiskies from five very unique Speyside distilleries encompassing five different flavour profiles; four different cask types; and age statement releases including an 8yo\, 9yo\, 12yo\, 16yo\, and 29yo.
