DESCRIPTION:An independent cask strength battle for the ages!\nTasmania’s leading independent bottler goes head-to-head in this epic face-off: come join whisky legends Tim Duckett & Matt Bailey butting heads\, live\, at Whisky & Alement for one night only. \nHeartwood\, founded by Tim Duckett in 1999\, is Tasmania’s leading independent bottler who’s well known for his irreverent approach\, bashing casks with a paddle\, and borrowing some inspiration for naming whiskies from the SMWS — of which he’s been a member since day dot in Australia. \nSMWS\, the world’s leading whisky club\, is celebrating 40 years this year\, so you know we’ll be bringing some heavy hitters to the lineup to battle against Heartwood. Expect to see Tim & Matt battle it out with plenty of banter added into the mix. The casks selected by both Heartwood & SMWS for this event are a mixture of historical releases\, special releases\, and new goodies coming through the pipeline. \nDon’t miss this rare one-off evening hosted by the SMWS at Melbourne’s leading whisky bar\, Whisky & Alement.
