DESCRIPTION:A night to remember — one club\, 6 AMAZING casks!\nJoin the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as we crack open all six festival casks — Islay\, Speyside\, Campbelltown\, Highlands\, and the Lowlands — on Saturday the 14th of May for a VERY special preview event. Yep\, all SIX festival casks will be available to try before they land in the country\, so this event is not to be missed! \nThese six whiskies will be enjoyed by the entire SMWS club world over; Tasmanian Ambassador Tom Rofe and Country Director Matt Bailey will be teaming up to present these phenomenal casks at the Tasmanian premier Partner Bar\, New Sydney Hotel\, for THE tasting experience of the year — the Scottish Whisky Festivals tasting. \nSo what does the night hold in store? Six drams\, one of each festival cask\, and a two-course meal — main and dessert + a Society highball on arrival. \n  \nWhen? Saturday the 14th of May\, 6pm arrival for a 6:30pm start\nWhere? DESCRIPTION:We told you it wouldn’t be much longer. The new Flavour Profiles are coming to Hobart in May — taste all 8 new profiles and write your own tasting notes!\nThe time is finally here. For almost a decade\, the Society’s 12 flavour profiles have influenced the way our members interact with our spirit. Now we see a shift from 12 to 8\, a simplification of flavour to further inform and assist how you interact with society spirit. A flavour evolution! \nJoin us at the coastal delight that is Hope & Anchor pub for an evening of flavour where you’ll have the opportunity to taste a Society dram from each of the eight new profiles\, and write your own notes! Drams will be accompanied by generous shared grazing plates — there’ll be plenty of food to go around. \nIn tandem\, this will also be an opportunity to view the newly-designed ‘Signature’ range of Society bottles. These will be replacing ‘Core’ bottlings with some minor\, yet crucial\, design changes as you’ll see. We’re really excited to be bringing these evolved flavours to you! \n\nWhen?
