DESCRIPTION:Peated drams and cigars await you at the New Sydney Hotel!\nJoin State Manager Tom Rofe and SMWS stronghold\, Mark Teague\, for our first Tasmanian event of the year where we’ll be pairing cigars and peated Society casks. Picture it\, thick smoke whirling around the air\, dissipating into the double-brick wall of the beloved New Sydney Hotel; soothing jazz stimulating your aural senses and peated dram in hand\, whilst you embark on a phenomenal journey of taste and smell. \nMark Teague\, a 4th generation Launceston tobacconist\, will be present to guide you through the cigar smoking — a complementary indulgence that will be enjoyed alongside three peated Society whiskies (plus a fourth unpeated)\, each from different regions and varying in their peat levels. There will also be light charcuterie served on the evening. \nWhen? Saturday the 19th of March\, 2pm arrival for a 2:30pm start\nWhere? New Sydney Hotel\, 87 Bathurst St\, Hobart TAS 7000 \nMembers are welcome to bring guests at member prices. Non-members are also welcome. \nAll guests will be required to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination status\, and/or any medical exemptions that may apply.
