SUMMARY:New Flavours Profiles in Perth!
DESCRIPTION:Sound the alarm! The new Flavour Profiles are landing at Terrarium this coming May — taste all 8 drams and write your own tasting notes!\nThe time is finally here. For almost a decade\, the Society’s 12 flavour profiles have influenced the way our members interact with our spirit. Now we see a shift from 12 to 8\, a simplification of flavour to further inform and assist how you interact with society spirit. A flavour evolution! \nJoin us at Terrarium on the terrace (weather pending) for an evening of flavour where you’ll have the opportunity to taste a Society dram from each of the new profiles\, and write your own notes! Drams will be accompanied by signature Terrarium kitchen delights (more than usual for this one!). \nIn tandem\, this will also be an opportunity to view the newly-designed ‘Signature’ range of Society bottles. These will be replacing ‘Core’ bottlings with some minor\, yet crucial\, design changes as you’ll see. We’re really excited to be bringing these evolved flavours to you! \n\nWhen? Thursday the 7th of May 2026\, 6:30pm arrival for a 7:00pm start.\nWhere? Terrarium Bar; 99 St Georges Terrace (Howards St Entrance)\, Perth WA 6000.\n  \nMembers are welcome to bring guests at member prices. Non-members are also welcome to attend and learn more about the Society. \nPlease note that the whiskies on pour for this event will be unreleased whiskies not featured in April Outturn. \n

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a wonderful\, entertaining and tasty evening of whisky discovery and appreciation as we explore a wide and diverse range of very special single malts from all corners of the land — in fact\, it’s The Grand Tour of Scotland!\nWe’ll embark on a virtual tour around Scotland\, visiting five of the whisky regions and enjoying a fantastic line up of sensational single-cask\, cask-strength\, single malts — each one chosen to represent its region and a unique Scotch style or flavour profile. In between each dram\, we’ll discuss and learn a bit about Scotch whisky; its history\, traditions\, how it’s made\, and how the Scots make so many different-tasting styles of whisky from just three\, simple ingredients. \nYour host for the evening is the Society’s Chairman\, Andrew Derbidge; one of the country’s most knowledgeable and entertaining presenters with over 25 years in the industry. He’s personally picked out five Society malt whiskies\, including casks from our latest shipment to feature for this event. This event will appeal to all lovers of Scotch whisky — from beginners to experts\, there’ll be something for everyone; some delicious spirit; a wee bit of education; and a lot of laughs. \nYour ticket includes a welcome drink\, 5x curated Society drams\, and shared plates at Terrarium Bar. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhen? Wednesday the 27th of May 2026\, 6:30pm arrival for a 7:00pm start.\nWhere?
