For almost a decade\, the Society’s 12 flavour profiles have influenced the way our members interact with our spirit. Now we see a shift from 12 to 8\, a simplification of flavour to further inform and assist how you interact with society spirit. A flavour evolution! \nJoin us at Terrarium on the terrace (weather pending) for an evening of flavour where you’ll have the opportunity to taste a Society dram from each of the new profiles\, and write your own notes! Drams will be accompanied by signature Terrarium kitchen delights (more than usual for this one!). \nIn tandem\, this will also be an opportunity to view the newly-designed ‘Signature’ range of Society bottles. These will be replacing ‘Core’ bottlings with some minor\, yet crucial\, design changes as you’ll see. We’re really excited to be bringing these evolved flavours to you! \n\nWhen? Building on the Rare Releases of previous years\, the Society has unveiled a series of specially selected and carefully matured casks globally to mark the inaugural Whisky Wanderers Festival. We’re lucky enough to be receiving 14 of them in Australia (including the highly anticipated five-region blended malt Wandering Alchemy). \nJoin SMWS Australia National Ambassador\, Lachlan Watt and local Ambassador Xander Stucken for a special evening tasting through 8x of these incredible Whisky Wanderers casks\, accompanied by snacks and small plates at the ever-incredible Terrarium Bar.
