DESCRIPTION:2002: Andre Tammes & John Rourke started something in Australia that would forever change the landscape of whisky appreciation forever.\nThey brought the world’s leading whisky club\, The Scotch Malt Whisky Society\, to Australia. They toured around the country with a bag of whisky and gauged interest to see whether or not Australians would truly want these rare and delicious malts. \nThe resounding answer was a yes! So\, the plan was hatched to start the branch and bring the full Society experience to Australia. \nIn 2012 we celebrated our 10th anniversary of the branch\, and in 2017\, our 15th anniversary. Fast forward to 2022 and we’ve hit our 20-year milestone\, and you guessed it\, we have some rather special 20th-anniversary casks and experiences to share yet again. \nAt this celebration on the 28th of October\, we’ll be taking over the whole Quayside room at the Museum of Contemporary Art\, Sydney\, overlooking the harbour. \nYour ticket includes: \n\nAll drinks\nAll food\n+ more to be announced…\n\n \n\nWhen? Friday 28th October 2022 — 6:30pm arrival for a 7pm start.\nWhere?
