DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special Global Gathering September Outturn preview at The Captain’s Balcony!\n  \nCome down to Sydney Partner Bar The Captain’s Balcony for the monthly SMWS Outturn preview tasting featuring a magnificent\, hand-selected lineup of delicious casks from September Outturn served with a selection of canapés from the kitchen! \nNational Director and Brand Ambassador\, Matt Bailey\, will be making a special appearance and joining the local Sydney SMWS host to present this special Global Gathering preview tasting. \n  \n  \nAll whiskies tasted are exclusively from the upcoming outturn\, which have not yet been released to members. Seating is limited and open to members and non-members. Keep an eye on The Captain’s Balcony social pages for more information on which whiskies will be available to taste closer to the event date. Arriving early? The full kitchen menu is open for service prior to and after the event. \nAn extended selection of SMWS whiskies will also be available on the evening from prior and upcoming monthly outturns served by the dram and half-dram (plus flash your membership card for a members discount). Your local State Ambassador Alex Moores will take you through each of the six drams as you nose and taste new Society flavours from codes old and new… \nYour ticket includes six Society drams plus sharing cheese boards to nibble on throughout the evening. Limited spots are available for this intimate tasting experience which is a fantastic opportunity to dive into some of the flavours of September Outturn before they’re released; select bottles will also be available to pre-purchase on the evening ahead of their release to all members. \n  \nWhen? Tuesday\, 3 September 2024 — 6:30pm arrival for a 7:00pm start.\nWhere? Whisky & Alement Upstairs — 270 Russell Street\, Melbourne VIC 3000.\n  \nMembers are welcome to bring guests at member prices. Non-members are also welcome to attend.
