DESCRIPTION:MAVERICK\, YOU ARE CLEARED FOR LAUNCH!\n2023 marks the 40th anniversary of our beloved club\, The Scotch Malt Whisky Society — 40 years of doing things differently\, sharing the unparalleled flavours of single-cask\, cask-strength whisky with folks from all over the world. We have lots of exciting releases and experiences planned around our 40th-anniversary\, but next month in Melbourne we’re going to be launching the Maverick bottling — our 12-year-old single malt ‘Heresy’ cask that was bottled to celebrate our 40th anniversary. \nJoin us on Friday\, the 4th of August\, at No Vacancy Café and Gallery for an evening of charcuterie and Maverick malt as we launch this historic bottling. Each guest will receive a 30ml dram of the Maverick malt\, as well as 2x of a specially crafted cocktail prepared by Whisky & Alement Bar Manager Lachlan Watt featuring the Maverick malt. We will also have a cash bar available with select Society casks on pour for $10 a dram. \nAdditionally\, every ticket will include a $30 voucher to use towards the purchase of the Maverick bottling when it is released in August Outturn. \n\nWhen? Friday the 4th of August\, 6:30pm start.\nWhere?
