DESCRIPTION:Put three tasty things together\, plus a whole venue to ourselves\, and you have a proper collaboration in boilermaking like none other seen before!\nIn collaboration with Wayward Brewing and Shiso Fine\, the Society is proud to announce we’re dialling up our summer boilermaker sessions to eleven. Wayward Brewing is giving us the brewery for the night to pair up 6 x delicious beers with our cask strength\, single cask whiskies\, while Shiso Fine are making handmade Japanese cuisine for us fresh on the night on the spot. Fresh beer from the tap\, fresh Japanese snacks\, fresh single casks direct from The Society’s Vaults of Leith\, all on location at the brewery. \nAn event truly not-t0-be-missed with beers you’ll have never tasted\, whiskies you’ve never seen\, and delicious Japanese food to boot. Come quench your thirst for full-flavour with the SMWS on our most ambitious boilermaker session to date\, right inside the brewery! \nNote: this event is on-site at Wayward Brewing\, 1 Gehrig Ln\, Camperdown NSW 2050. DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Society is proud to announce yet another exciting collaboration for our next Sydney gathering: SMWS Boilermakers with Wayward Brewing Co! Wayward Brewing are a craft beer staple of the Sydney brewing scene and we’re proud to collaborate with them for this event exploring five of their fine beers\, one of which isn’t even commercially available yet! \nJoin us at the Royal Automobile Club for an evening that celebrates how barley\, yeast\, and water (and occasionally hops!) can combine to make magic! \nWe’ll be showcasing a line up of Society whiskies\, each one specifically matched and paired to a unique Wayward Brewing beer. Whisky & beer? It’s a Boilermaker!! Just like our whisky dinners or our whisky pairing nights (cheese\, chocolate\, coffee\, bread)\, we’ll explore how the matched beer brings out and highlights the features of the whisky\, and also how the whisky impacts and accentuates the malt and hops of the beer. We’ll explore both light and dark ales and match them with a diverse range of Society whiskies that cover the spectrum of floral\, grassy\, malty\, sweet\, citrus\, smoke\, and peat! Subject to his availability on the night\, we hope to have the brewer on hand to talk us through the beers and how they go about their craft at the brewery. \nA delicious light supper is included.
