DESCRIPTION:We invite you to come and experience some sensational Scotch Malt Whisky Society single cask single malts and some warm SMWS hospitality with Owen Smythe\, SMWS VIC Manager. We’ll be hosting this at one of our favourite haunts\, P.J. O’Brien’s Irish Bar in Southbank. Our whisky journey will take us all over Scotland\, tasting five amazing drams across a range of ages\, flavour profiles and cask types. Rare cask-strength\, single cask\, single malts not available to buy in any Australian retailer – only through The Scotch Malt Whisky Society. These whiskies haven’t been chill-filtered\, they haven’t been watered down to 40%\, and they haven’t had caramel colouring added. They are simply as the distiller intended….. So come along and join us for an informal tasting – a bit of education and a lot of fun. \nEnjoy a welcome craft beer on arrival\, followed by the amazing malts accompanied by a delicious matched light supper.
