They toured around the country with a bag of whisky and gauged interest to see whether or not Australians would truly want these rare and delicious malts. \nThe resounding answer was a yes! So\, the plan was hatched to start the branch and bring the full Society experience to Australia. \n  \nJoin us at Brisbane’s premier private club for an intimate and festive evening where spirits will be high (and in glass) to toast the last 20 years of The SMWS Australia branch’s existence. This will be an exclusive event not to be missed and will see your State Ambassador\, Scott Mansfield\, discussing the branch’s history and evolution. \nEach ticket includes a lavish dinner and five drams of Society whisky — including the soon-to-be-announced 20th-anniversary casks — plus a welcome dram. \n  \nWhen? Friday 30th September 2022 — 6:30pm arrival for a 7pm start.\nWhere? The Brisbane Club\, 241 Adelaide Street\, Brisbane QLD 4000\n  \nMembers are welcome to bring guests at member-ticket pricing.
