Freemantle’s Malt’n Gold officially joins The Scotch Malt Whisky Society as our latest Western Australian Partner Bar!
What happens when a couple of the biggest whisky nerds in Western Australia get together to start a whisky bar? When the team behind Whisky Freedom, Dram Full, and NTD Spirits teams up with the team behind Cellarbrations Hamilton Hill Superstore, what occurs?
Malt’n Gold is what happens!
Western Australia’s biggest little whisk(e)y bar, with over 500+ whiskies pouring (not counting the dozens of agaves, rums, and gins) and only space for 20 guests, this is the old-school whisky bar that you see in movies and on TV. Soft rock, jazz, and classical music fill the background, so you can talk to your companions in the foreground.
Our whiskies range from back to the 1960s and cover the globe from Scotland, Japan, India, Taian, Israel, England, France, New Zealand, Ireland, America, and Australia. We also focus heavily on extremely limited releases and independent bottlings, such as Cadenheads, Signatory, Adelphi and Gordon & MacPhail; this team-up is one that was destined to happen and we’re over the moon to be one of The Scotch Malt Whisky Society’s Partner Bar for Fremantle.
Having been the WA State Manager for the wonderful Society years ago, and being very familiar with their amazing cask selections, we can’t wait to welcome all of the lovely members to come join us in Fremantle as we continue this amazing journey through the world of this epic spirit!
