DESCRIPTION:Happy new year! \nWhat a year ahead we have planned for Society members\, including this extremely momentous occasion launching the next chapter for Whisky & Alement with their Melbourne Whisky Room upstairs.  You heard right: situated directly above Whisky & Alement is the latest dedicated whisky bar in Melbourne and a truly wonderful Society space. It is both welcoming and exciting for Society members and their guests and is part of the Whisky & Alement family. \nGroup tastings\, table service\, an Old & Rare section and the feature SMWS Archive Cabinet which will be regularly pillaged for special events. An exciting move for this long-standing Society Partner Bar! And an intimate space for dramming on single cask\, cask strength pours from the Society. Over time we anticipate this will offer members the widest range of single casks available by the dram in the Southern Hemisphere! \nCome along on Wednesday 15th Feb from 6:30pm for an entirely exclusive members night. This will be a whole-venue takeover to celebrate the new Society space for members\, enjoy 6 x drams\, light food\, and explore the bar afterwards.
