Please note change of venue.\nWhat is the Gathering?\nIt’s a global Society evening being hosted in as many cities and towns around the world as possible with the idea harking back to the Scottish meaning of the word ‘Gathering’: a bringing together of people who shared common ancestry\, lands\, and a leader. A gathering was more than just a family reunion\, it was also a celebration. It’s the perfect term to describe a coming together of those whose passion and commonality is whisky. We have some special casks just landed for the Gathering events\, one cask of which is strictly a by-the-dram only serve. This particular cask has been shared with all SMWS branches worldwide for a truly global club gathering all enjoying the same amazing celebratory dram just for this occasion. And it’s from Distillery 33! \nOne night only at the historic Kelvin Club in Melbourne CBD.
