Join us for a wonderful, entertaining and tasty evening of whisky discovery and appreciation as we explore a wide and diverse range of very special single malts from all corners of the land — in fact, it’s The Grand Tour of Scotland!
We’ll embark on a virtual tour around Scotland, visiting five of the whisky regions and enjoying a fantastic line up of sensational single-cask, cask-strength, single malts — each one chosen to represent its region and a unique Scotch style or flavour profile. In between each dram, we’ll discuss and learn a bit about Scotch whisky; its history, traditions, how it’s made, and how the Scots make so many different-tasting styles of whisky from just three, simple ingredients.
Your host for the evening is the Society’s Chairman, Andrew Derbidge; one of the country’s most knowledgeable and entertaining presenters with over 25 years in the industry. He’s personally picked out five Society malt whiskies, including casks from our latest shipment to feature for this event. This event will appeal to all lovers of Scotch whisky — from beginners to experts, there’ll be something for everyone; some delicious spirit; a wee bit of education; and a lot of laughs.
Your ticket includes a welcome drink, 5x curated Society drams, and a two-course dinner in the Seven Stars Hotel’s private dining room.
