Every year, the five Scotch Whisky regions celebrate the spirit of their own flavours. The Society is uniquely positioned to be able to celebrate all five regions at once; but as Scotch Whisky evolves, we at the SMWS have to ask: do the regions really matter? There’s only one way to find out!
It’s time to Read Between the Drams! Your enigmatic South Australian Ambassador Nirmal Menon has concocted an evening reminiscent of our famous CHAMPS experience. An evening of mystery and full-flavoured drams awaits at Seven Stars Hotel where you will begin with the five-region blended malt, and dive into five whiskies (one from each region) from the 2026 Whisky Festivals Creators Collection series to see if you can guess the whisky! Your tasting menu will have some red herrings, and it’s up to you to see if you can recognise the regions, and the drams.
A fun evening alongside some tasty platters with various prizes going to the top-placed guests of the evening. Limited tickets available, so book in with your friends early to avoid missing out. This is a unique opportunity to be some of the first members in the country to try the upcoming SMWS Festival Bottlings.
