The one you’ve been waiting for — Flavour Profile deep dive for peat, an in-depth look at different styles across several regions, all presented by VIC SMWS Ambassador Alex Moores.
Six peated drams plus a welcome beer and shared cheese/charcuterie boards await each ticket holder upstairs at Whisky & Alement on Tuesday, 12th of May. A journey exploring the many styles and regions of peat, and the legacy SMWS peated flavour profiles. From the young, ex-bourbon peat bombs of Islay, to the fruity, drier coastal smokes, and beyond Scotland. This event has already seen lots of interest from members; “when are tickets going on sale for the peat event?”, “have the tickets gone on sale, yet?” — well, now they’re here.
Grab yours on the 24th of March, midday AEDT, and experience the hearty and diverse flavours of peat. Please remember that this is a seated whisky tasting, please be mindful and respectful of other guests attending to learn about the whiskies.
